Chill Rod Review & GIVEAWAY!!!!!

For those fellow followers out there who love wine, you have got to try this!! Fist, let me say that I received this product for my honest review. It comes in a nice box. When you open it, the inside holds the 2 pieces of the Chill Rod by Chiller Pronto. I thought to myself, “Just how is this going to work?” Turns out it is so easy!!
First you put the Chill Rod stick in the freezer for at least 2 hours. The chiller rod is made out of nice, heavy stainless steel. You can wash this and reuse it, time and time again!!
When you are ready to pour yourself and your friends a nice cold drink of wine. Take the chiller rod out of the freezer and screw the pourer top on it. Then open your wine. Before placing the chiller rod right in the wine bottle, make sure to pour 1/2 a glass of wine into a wine glass so you don't over the wine. It is a good size also and goes nicely in most wine bottles that you will find in the stores today. That’s it!! All that is left is to pour your wine into your glasses.
The wine becomes nice and cold! This is awesome when you have people over and your wine is sitting in the wine holder and not in the refrigerator. I was really surprised how easy it was to use. The Argan Oil for Hair, Face, Skin & Nails comes in a nice big bottle. 4 ounces is a lot of product. I received this product for my honest review. I have never heard of Argan Oil before but I am so glad that I have now tried it. I live in Maine and the winter can be harsh. My skin gets very dry. No matter what lotions I would try it just didn’t do the job as well as I would have liked.
The first thing I did was use it on my hands. My palms were flaky and peeling. After using the Argan Oil for 2 days they started to heal. I did not use a lot of the oil. Just a few drops was all it took. I thought “Wow, if this works this well on my hands then it will do well on my feet.” So again, I used a small amount and rubbed it on my feet. My feet were like my hands, rough, cracked and peeling. In 2 days I started to notice a big difference.
Argan Oil hydrated my skin to the point that it is not rough anymore. It does not have a very bad smell or a very good smell. It does have a smell but it isn’t something I can figure out what it is. Nighty Night

I just do not like any light coming in while I am trying to sleep!! I had a really cheap ‘dime-store’ mask that was just not doing the job. I received this Dream Essentials Sweet Dreams Lightweight Contoured Sleep Mask with Ear Plugs, Travel Pouch and Black Eye Mask for an honest review. I am so glad that I did! When you first open the box you notice that the mask itself looks a little like the top of Batmans’ mask. Who every thought that this was a good idea in the company was a GENIUS!! This concept helps it to stay put and not slide down!

The Dream Mask is made out of nylon and closed cell foam. The mask is very light. It is very comfortable to wear. The mask does not touch your eyes, which I loved, did not make it seem claustrophobic. Since the nose is like it is, the mask doesn’t slide down and cover your nose and become uncomfortable. The strap is nice and has velcro to keep it in place.

It comes with a nice little pouch and a pair of ear plugs. When we are home, I have a fan running when I sleep. I love the white noise. When we travel, I miss that noise and have a hard time getting to sleep. The pouch makes it easy to travel with. They will be a staple to take on vacations.

So, if your like me and need to have it dark when your trying to sleep. This Sweet Dreams Mask will do the trick without any pressure on your eyes.

Powerful Lantern!!

The Supernove 300 Lumens Ultra Bright LED Camping and Emergency Lantern is one of those ‘must-have’ products. We live in Maine. Winters can bring power outages, and the rest of the seaasons bring outdoor adventures, like camping and hiking. I received this product for my honest review. When we first opened the box I thought, “Well, this is small.” Do not let the size fool you!! This is one powerful lantern.

Some of the stats of the lantern made us really take notice. The lantern puts out little heat. We did not have to worry about our grandson touching it while we were trying it out. It can also be used continuously for 6 days!! If you have ever been without power for any length of time due to weather, you know just how great this is on those nights!! Candles can blow out or get knocked over. They can be unsafe. Flashlights tend to run their batteries out quickly. With this Supernova 300 you will not have to worry about that, even though it does take 3 D size batteries. Plus the LED lights in it are guaranteed for up to 100,000 hours!

When we go camping this light is going to be great! We can hang it up to use or let it sit. We won’t have to worry about it being knocked over. We can let the kids keep it on all night if they are not comfortable without having light. I also like that they can use the handle to take it with them to go to the bathroom. The path will be lit with it.

As you can see in the pictures, the Supernova 300 gives out some powerful light. Again, this is great for safety, recreation or adventure.

Cute Teething Toy

First let me say that this Giraffe is adorable!! The Giraffe Teething Necklace is FDA food grade silicone and BPA free, which is important because we are careful about what goes into our grandson's mouth. I received this product for my honest review. He is at the stage where he wants to taste everything, especially my jewelry when I am holding him. The bracelet is fashionable and great for his teeth. The giraffe and bracelet can go into the fridge for added relief and are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning and sanitation. I love this teething jewelry.
I also gave this to my daughter-in-law. She fell in love with it. When she took our grandson to the store, she did not have to worry about his teething toy getting dropped on a dirty floor, or being lost. It kept him busy and happy while they shopped. She was even asked where she purchased this by another Mom whose little one was fussing.

When our grandson started fussing here from teething we took the giraffe out of the freezer. After giving it to him to chew on, he settled right down. He chewed on the giraffe for a good 20 minutes while we were reading books before bed. It seemed to help him not to be so fussy and took his mind off those teeth coming in.

So, this Giraffe Silicone Teething Necklace and Bracelet by Epicura are not only adorable but serves a function. I would recommend it to anyone who has a little one in their lives OR anyone who knows someone who is expecting a little one(what an awesome baby-shower gift!)

Berkleys' In Love!!

I have to say that this is the cutest, softness. most adorable stuffed duck ever!! I received this product for my honest review. I barely got it out of the package and was talking to my friend when her dog promptly took it out of my hand. I thought her dog would love it. Boy oh boy was I right!! He took it in the living room and sat right down with it. He licked it and would pick it up and put it down. Walk around it and lay down next to it. It's like he was making sure the duck was comfortable, lol. He would make it squeak and snuggle it.

We laughed so hard! He was so sweet with it. Berkley is not a little dog either, he is a good size. When I went back over to their apartment to take a picture of him with his new toy-friend, he was still laying with him. I cannot imagine any animal not liking this plush duck from L&H Guerra Limited. Seriously if I didn't know this was for animals I may have kept it for our grandson. It is just that cute!!!

Kiva Gourmet Hot & Sweet Smoked Spanish Paprika

I have to say that as far as paprika goes I do not know much about it. I do use it in a few recipes but never had gourmet paprika. As soon as we opened the package we could tell that these were good spices. The color just pops a dark red. The smell is very fragrant, where the ‘cheaper’ paprika I use to use buy did not really have a smell at all. I received this product in return for my honest review. I can tell the difference between the gourmet product and the ‘dollar’ store product for sure.

The first thing we did after smelling the paprikas, was to decide how we were going to use them. We decided on deviled eggs and chili to start. I tasted both the Hot Smoked and the Sweet Smoked. The Hot Smoked has a little kick and smokiness but nothing that you cannot handle. The Sweet Smoked was smokey with an underlying of sweetness but again not an overpowering sweet. We made the deviled eggs and on 1//2 we put the Hot Smoked Paprika and the other side the Sweet Smoked Paprika. We then had the family try them. Everyone loved them and the Hot Smoked won out by just one vote out of 6!!

We then moved on to the chili. Since we were having company over we made two batches. The Sweet Smoked Paprika for the kids and the Hot Smoked Paprika for the adults. It was a huge hit. Everyone wanted to know why it had a smokey taste and complimented that it was really good. We finally told them what we changed in the ingredients. They couldn’t believe that switching up the Gourmet Kiva Paprikas in place of the ‘cheaper’ paprikas made such a difference. All in all we had a great time and everything tasted wonderful.

I will say that one of the important factors of this product is the fact that they get ingredients from local farmers. Those farmers use eco-friendly means to farm. I would suggest that you go ahead and try Kiva Gourmet Hot & Sweet Smoked Spanish Paprika. You can use it in so many recipes from fish, to vegetables, chilis and meat.
